My seamstress

This year for Christmas Zach made our niece and nephews sock monkeys! He spent about three hours on each monkey and perfected them for the kids. I'm so lucky to have a husband that puts so much time and thought into these types of gifts. We love our niece and nephews so much and loved watching them open their monkeys! Their faces were so sweet, and they had the biggest smiles on!

Mom turns 50!

Mom and Dad came up this weekend to visit with us, and it's my mom's birthday weekend! All day Saturday we spent the day together, just us six! We first spent some time at the Boys and Girls club with my sisters kids from her other job. We played dodgeball, basketball, pool, and danced on the xbox. That was a fun way to start the day! Then we hit the Pie Pizzeria for some of the best pizza ever.

After grubbin, we got dressed up to go into the canyon of American Fork and take a few family photos! It was FREEZING! But such a great time! Every ten minutes we would run back to the care and defrost for a few minutes then run back out to snap another few shots. It was snowing the whole time and looked beautiful! Love those Utah mountains!

Later in the night we walked the lights at Temple Square, it was so pretty! We stopped into a chapel and listened to a choir sing for a few minutes, then walked in the crowds of people to see the pretty view of the square lit up. It was a cozy evening. Finishing the night with some hot cocoa and Lion House for dinner. It was a great celebration for my mom! It was cold, but perfect!

WICKED!

We splurged and got tickets to see Wicked in Las Vegas! What an amazing show! WOW. I would love to see it again. We stayed at the Luxor for two nights and went to the Belagio's buffet for dinner after Wicked. We enjoyed a mini get away just us two.

Savvy's Birthday

How is it that she is already THREE?? The first time I met Savvy she had just learned how to walk and was saying "oh wow!". She had two little tiny pig tails and was still a bit shy around me and Zach. She had just a few teeth that had grown in and she was all smiles. Now she is three and the best niece ever. Her personality has blossomed so much! She is a crack up, so loving, and is our little goof ball. She is still all smiles, and she just adores uncle Zach so much now. She is so loved by all of us in the family! And is our little princess. For her birthday she wanted lots of pink! And she got that :) I love you Savvy G, and happy birthday big girl.
