How we celebrate

On our anniversary, Zach had a karate final in the morning until about noon. When he got home we didn't waste much time before cutting into our wedding cake. I had let it thaw throughout the morning so it would be ready to eat. I put it on one of our wedding cake stands that we made and he cut the cake for us. It was so good! After a year of being frozen we were not at all disappointed. We enjoyed our funfetti cake that we had been waiting for for too long.

After the cake we headed out to the Salt Lake Temple. It was such a great experience and a beautiful evening there. And then Buca Di Beppo, where our first date was.

Our One Year Anniversary!

Today is our one year anniversary! How has it already been a year? A year ago today I woke up around 4am to get my hair and makeup done. I was surrounded by family in the home I grew up in to help me look beautiful on my big day. I was so excited yet nervous and anxious. My family drove me out to the Los Angeles temple where I met my groom to be sealed together for all time and eternity. It was the most beautiful and best day of my life.

I still don't know how I was so lucky to meet and marry Zach. He has made everyday better and better. Zach has taken such good care of me since the day I met him. And everyday he reminds me how much he loves me. I've never laughed so hard or been so excited to see someone every day. I love the man so much.

I never posted all my pictures from our wedding day, but here are some that really tell the story of our beautiful wedding day.

One of the highlights of our day was when my sisters speech turned into a rap!

In one year we have had a great and amazing adventure together. Being newlyweds has been the most fun and most challenging time for us. We are immensely blessed for all that we have and for having each other. I fall in love over and over again with my husband.

This happened yesterday for Zach's birthday. As I arrived home from work...he was sleeping, and I woke him up with my singing.
